On 13 June 2017 the National Assembly adopted Act LXXVI of 2017 on the transparency of organisations receiving support from abroad, requiring NGOs above a donation threshold to register as foreign-funded. The Court of Justice later held the statute breached free movement of capital and the Charter. This Fact is that dated statute. It is not Stop Soros (2018), not the Sovereignty Protection Office (2023), and not a personality. Official text sits in the National Legal Database; the CJEU judgment in Commission v Hungary (C-78/18) is the independent file.
