Switzerland hosts the Summit on Peace in Ukraine at Burgenstock
On 15-16 June 2024 Switzerland hosted a high-level Summit on Peace in Ukraine at the Burgenstock resort, convening representatives of about 92 states and eight international organizations to seek common ground toward a just and lasting peace. Russia did not attend, and a majority of participants backed a joint communique focused on nuclear safety, food security and prisoner exchanges.
